In honor of the St. Cloud Heritage Museum’s 12th anniversary on Saturday, February 18, 2017, we celebrated three fine artists. Natura, the art exhibit, opened from 10:00 – 4:00. This was another free event at the museum located at 1012 Massachusetts Ave.
Dr. Saulius Jankauskas was born in Detroit, Michigan. Since 1989, he has had a private practice as a Plastic Surgeon in Longwood, Florida. A fused glass artist, he has been worked exclusively in hot glass since 1996 and teaches the art of fusing. His work has been displayed in multiple exhibits throughout the United States.
Irma Kirveliene is a masterful fine art painter. She creates mixed-media art, faux, murals and furniture restoration. Her work has been displayed in galleries in the United States and Europe.
Edita Klinkel began photographing in the 1990's. In the beginning, it was exotic countries and their inhabitants. In the past 10 years, it slowly developed into portraits of people, and it is becoming more and more captivating with time. She describes her photography as natural light portrait photography with European flair.
